Each weekly or seasonal contest publishes its own Official Rules with the sponsor, contest period, prizes and approximate retail value, eligibility, scoring, claim deadlines, tax notes, publicity terms and dispute terms. Those rules are linked from every contest page. This page describes what all of them share.
Free to play
OddsOnAir Play is a free prediction game. Play points have no cash value, cannot be purchased, sold, transferred or redeemed, and are used only to trade on markets. Entering a contest is free and requires only a free account and trading during the contest period.
Skill-based scoring
Scores are realized play-point results on markets that resolve inside the contest period. Nothing sold in the store affects scoring or eligibility.
Who can win
Legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 (19 in Alabama and Nebraska, 21 in Mississippi). Employees and contractors of DigitalU LLC and their households, anyone who resolves markets, and house accounts cannot win prizes.
Integrity
One account per person. Collusion, multiple accounts and trading on non-public knowledge disqualify a participant. Flagged winners are reviewed before any prize is awarded.
Apple
Contests are sponsored by DigitalU LLC. Apple Inc. is not a sponsor of, and is not involved in, any contest.
Terms of service
Terms of Service
OddsOnAir Play is operated by DigitalU LLC. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
2. Play points
Play points have no cash value. They cannot be bought, sold, gifted, transferred, or exchanged for anything. Closing your account forfeits any points. This is a free game, not a financial service, and it is not gambling: no payment of any kind is required or accepted for play or for prize eligibility.
3. Markets
Markets resolve according to their written rules and public sources. Reviewers may clarify wording but never change resolution criteria after a market opens. Ambiguous markets resolve to 0.5 per share.
4. Conduct
One account per person. No collusion, no multiple accounts, no trading on non-public information, no abuse of other players or staff.
5. Store
Items sold in the store are cosmetic, social or entertainment features only. They never affect gameplay, scoring, eligibility or the analyst's data. Purchases are final except where law requires otherwise. Subscriptions cancel in the same place you started them.
6. Private rooms
Room hosts may not charge anyone to join a room or award anything of value based on room results.
7. Changes and termination
We may change these terms with notice in the app. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
8. Governing law
California law applies. Disputes are resolved in Los Angeles County.
Privacy
Privacy Policy
We collect the minimum needed to run the game: a handle, email address, date of birth and region. We use hashed device and network signals only to prevent fraud.
Prize claims
If you win a prize we collect your name, address, identity-verification result (from a verification vendor; we do not store ID images) and tax forms where required. This information lives in a restricted system and is deleted three years after the tax year closes.
Analytics
We measure how the product is used. Where law requires, we ask for consent first.
Your controls
Export or delete your data from Settings at any time. Deleting your account forfeits your points, which have no value.
